Carnival in the Sky: Sam and Irilie Concept Art

These are initial sketches, with emphasis on costume design, of the two main characters of a story I am currently working on. I am undecided as to how I hope to proceed with the story, but I feel that the designs themselves are engaging and interesting enough that I'll have to make sure that they are included in the final product, even though they may be tweaked quite a bit before the project is finished.
